My Sister is exhausted but doing well. Alyssa was able to give birth naturally with no surgery! PTL!! Continue to pray for Alyssa as they now need to figure out what is wrong with her kidneys and her potassium levels.
Mariah is truly a miracle from the Lord! Mariah had a breathing tube at first because she would not breathe on her own after birth. However, they were able to take the tube out soon after and she is now trying to breathe on her own. She is a bit wheezy and “grunts” as they say in the PICU. Pray that her lungs continue to strengthen.
I don’t have any pics of Alyssa or the proud Daddy with Mariah yet because we had to go in and see her only a couple at a time. Of course, Mommy and Daddy got to go first!

That is an amazing size for a baby born that early! She looks really good in the pictures too. I hope they figure out what is going on with your sister, and that she is up and well soon.

She looks big for a premie! That’s good. From the pictures I’ve seen, she kinda looks like Alyssa.
My small group guys are all going to have a big cheer now. We’ve been praying for them (and will continue to do so) every week.
