  • LOPHOP!

Food, Family and Fun for Memorial Day weekend! I will have to share the fun in spurts as we did so much. Tomorrow (or today by the time you read this) will be Jared’s 9th b-day so I may not get to it all right away. Of course tomorrow’s pics will all be for the birthday boy!

Lobsters at the LOPHOP! What’s a lophop? Well it’s a huge adoption gathering that Eric’s first cousin, Anita, hosts that also happens to include a huge lobster feast. Due to not having permission from the other parents I am only posting pics of our kiddos. However, know there were over 90 people at the party and the kids outnumbered the adults! WHAT A BLAST!!!!

  • Looks like they had a lot of fun!

  • Fun pics.  And everyone eating lobster!

  • ryc:  That’s what creeps me out the most.  Especially with all the grown-up, made-up dance recital photos that I posted last week.  I’m concerned that it’s some sicko checking out my little girl.  Hopefully, they will either respond to my comment or stay away.  Who knows, though.  Coming from D.C., could it even be some government spy program?  Am I crazy to think that?

  • ryc (again) (HeHe):  You must take your neighbor’s house painting as the highest of compliments.  They must have thought that yours looked so good they wanted to copy you!

  • Lobster!  Yum!

  • ryc:  We actually had a decent weekend.  It rained a little at night.  There was a big storm while we were at the balloon festival, but Eric was smart enough to have us wait to see the indoor exhibits in case it rained.  By the time we were done looking through them, the sun was back out again.  We also bought a 12×12 canopy this year, so we are able to keep the picnic table dry and have plenty of dry space around it.  Luckily, it didn’t rain much either evening.  We were able to have our campfires.

As far as a bigger popup goes, you have room for two more!  Three to a bed, one on the dinette and one on the sofa.  Of course, on rainy days, you couldn’t possibly have a big enough camper!

  • I love, love, love the new banana phone pic!
